HUMANITARIAN AID
Produce food for times of need: Natural disasters, humanitarian aid overseas.
Ideas include:
1. Gathering food donations: canned food, seeds, plants
2. Provide manpower: to go to places in need of services like making fishing boats, distributing bags of rice, canned food possibly
3. Perhaps create a system for sustainable food production. I'm currently imagining a greenhouse on water as a specific solution/strategy.
1. Gathering food waste for composting system
2. Have a water irrigation system setup if in the water by providing filtration system.
3. Solar powered
4. Produce seedlings to distribute to places in need of help. A case of teaching someone to fish to live as opposed to giving fish.
5. Produce food itself for immediate food distribution
Questions
1. Does this system extend to providing emergency shelters and doctors?
2. What about safety and security? Imagine pirates or military attacks.
3. Think about establishing bases or "ports" for permanent points of access(distribution).
4. Think about how a "virtual" system can assist in communication and provide information to the public about location and activities.
